What is the Koktail Thailand Dining Guide?
The Koktail Thailand Dining Guide is the yearly restaurant guide of Koktail Thailand, and its awards night is where the guide's selections are announced. The name is Koktail with a K, and the awards are about restaurants, not cocktails. More than 800 guests attended the 2026 ceremony, and the guide itself is scheduled for publication in January 2027.
Koktail's reviews cover food, ambience, beverages and service. In Koktail's own coverage of the awards, Nigel Oakins says "we review every single restaurant that we consider for our guide", and that for the very top restaurants the team dines there two, three or even four times.
What does "Thailand's Best" mean?
Thailand's Best is a list of 50 restaurants, one of the 14 categories announced on 5 November 2026 and the one with the most names, 50 against between 1 and 6 in each of the others. It is not a single winner, and it does not mean "the best restaurant in Thailand". Koktail's announcement page does not define the designation or give a score threshold, so we describe it as it appears: a selection of 50 restaurants, listed without a ranking.
The list sits alongside Koktail's other awards: Restaurant of the Year went to Blue by Alain Ducasse in Bangkok and to hom in Phuket, Chef of the Year to Weerawat Triyasenawat of Sra Bua by Num Weerawat and Tamaki Kobayashi of Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie, and Wine Pairing of the Year to Riedel Restaurant & Wine Cellar. Bisou appears once, in Thailand's Best. The full list is on Koktail's awards page.
Bisou Bangkok and Koktail, year by year
As of 7 November 2026, Bisou's record on Koktail's own pages reads:

| 2023-2024 | Neighbourhood Favourite | One of ten named at Thailand's Favourite Restaurants by Koktail |
| 2025 | Thailand's Best | Named in the selection at Thailand's Favourite Restaurants by Koktail 2025 (announced November 2024) |
| Guide 2026 | Scored 85/100 | Food 41/50, Drinks 9/10, Setting 17/20, Service 18/20 |
| 2026 awards | Thailand's Best | One of 50 named at the Koktail Thailand Dining Guide 2027, announced 5 November 2026 |
On Koktail's restaurant page for Bisou, Koktail gives the restaurant three designations: Inspired Wine Pairing, Reviewer Favourite and Serious Cocktails. Its reviewer writes "Bread and butter are taken seriously here, with the latter ceremonially scooped tableside", which matches the table: a whole block of French butter from Les Frères Marchand arrives with warm sourdough at every Bisou table.
What Bisou serves
Bisou serves modern French cooking built to share, with premium seasonal and Japanese luxury produce over wood fire and dry-aging. Chef Antoine Darquin's menu includes truffle French toast, beef Wellington carved at the table, whole seabass in a salt crust flambéed tableside, and wood-fired dry-aged Wagyu. Théo Lavergne is Bisou's sommelier and co-founder, and Koktail's page marks the wine list with its Inspired Wine Pairing designation. Head Chef Freya Nowack joined in 2026 from Côte by Mauro Colagreco.
The signature five-course sharing menu is THB 3,400 per person, for two guests or more. With the 10 percent service charge and 7 percent VAT on top, the all-in price is THB 4,002 per person, as explained in our guide to what dinner really costs in Bangkok. The full carte is on the menu page.
Bisou is also recognised outside Koktail. It is MICHELIN Selected in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025 and 2026 (Selected, not starred), and it won the reader-voted Best Date Night at the Lifestyle Asia Best Bites Awards 2026. Every recognition is listed with its source on our awards page.

Thank you to Koktail Thailand for the recognition, to the team who run the room every night, and to every guest who made the long evenings worth it.
