Where to Eat on Soi Langsuan
A street guide to Soi Langsuan, the Bangkok road that runs from Ploenchit to Lumphini Park: two MICHELIN stars at INDDEE, neo-Thai at Vilas, American barbecue, an Argentinian grill, a cabaret bar, and Bisou for modern French.
In short
Soi Langsuan runs from Ploenchit Road down to Lumphini Park, two minutes from BTS Chit Lom, and packs an unusual range into one street: two MICHELIN stars at INDDEE, MICHELIN Selected neo-Thai at Vilas, a ten-seat Italian at Per Te, Thai home cooking at Baan Langsuan, American barbecue at Smokin' Pug, an Argentinian grill at El Gaucho, a cabaret bar at Crimson Room, and modern French at Bisou.
See the menuSoi Langsuan is the road that runs from Ploenchit down to the northern gate of Lumphini Park, and for a single street it feeds an unusual range of appetites. As of July 2026 it holds a two MICHELIN star Indian tasting room at INDDEE, MICHELIN Selected neo-Thai at Vilas, a ten-seat Italian at Per Te, Thai home cooking in a restored wooden house at Baan Langsuan, American barbecue at Smokin' Pug, an Argentinian grill at El Gaucho, a cabaret bar at Crimson Room, and modern French plated to share at Bisou. This is what to eat where, address by address.
The street is walkable end to end, roughly two minutes from BTS Chit Lom at the Ploenchit end and a few minutes more to the park. Much of the recent activity clusters in Velaa Sindhorn Village at number 87, an open-air complex that now holds several of the entries below. The rest are in houses and shophouses along the road itself.

The fine dining end of the street
Langsuan's serious kitchens sit within a few hundred metres of each other, which is unusual for Bangkok.
INDDEE is the street's most decorated address. Chef Sachin Poojary cooks a regional tour of India across eight or ten courses in a restored century-old house at 68/1, with two open fire kitchens and a wine list that has won a MICHELIN Sommelier Award and the Star Wine List Grand Prix Asia. It was promoted to two MICHELIN stars in the 2026 Thailand guide, announced in late November 2025. Dinner only, roughly 5:30 to 11:30 PM, with the ten-course journey published at THB 4,900++. The house sits back from the road and is easy to walk past, so look for the building rather than a shopfront, and book well ahead for a room of around fifty seats.
Vilas is chef Prin Polsuk's neo-Thai dining room, in the basement of Velaa Sindhorn Village at 87 Langsuan. It moved here from Mahanakhon Cube in 2025, and the format changed with the address: where the old room ran a long tasting menu, this one is a la carte, which is what the MICHELIN Guide praises in its 2026 Selected entry. Expect regional Thai recipes rebuilt with premium produce. One point of accuracy worth knowing: Prin Polsuk holds a MICHELIN star at his separate restaurant Samrub Samrub Thai, not at Vilas.
Bisou is at 68 Soi Langsuan 9, in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand as Selected in both 2025 and 2026, serving modern French plated to share. More on it below, and see how it sits among the best French restaurants in Bangkok.
The everyday end of the street
Langsuan is not only special occasions, and this is where locals actually eat during the week.
Per Te at 70-72 is the smallest room on the street, a chef-owned Italian house seating around ten, where the pasta and the cakes are made in an open kitchen a few steps from the table. Open Tuesday to Sunday, roughly 11:00 to 21:00, closed Mondays. It sits almost opposite Velaa Sindhorn Village, which is the easiest landmark to aim for.
Baan Langsuan at 39/2 is a restored white wooden house set back from the traffic, serving the Thai breakfasts and home cooking most Bangkok families grew up on, with dishes from around THB 150. It opens early and runs late, which makes it the street's most useful address.
Smokin' Pug at 105 is a genuine wood-smoker barbecue joint, brisket overnight in the smokers out back, ribs at THB 675 for a half rack and THB 1,050 for a full one. Open seven days from 5 PM, last food order 10 PM.
El Gaucho keeps its Langsuan branch in Velaa Sindhorn Village, a semi-outdoor Argentinian grill under a tree-branch canopy, open daily 11:00 to 23:00 with last orders at 22:00. For the wider picture, see our guide to the best steakhouses in Bangkok.
Where to go after dinner
Crimson Room, also in Velaa Sindhorn Village, is a Roaring Twenties cabaret bar behind an unmarked door, with velvet booths facing a real stage and a live band. Open 6 PM to 2 AM, with signature cocktails around THB 440 to 460. It is the reason a Langsuan dinner does not have to end at eleven.
“Bisou delivers sexy simplicity through modern French cuisine, prioritising premium ingredients.”
The MICHELIN Guide, Selected 2026Bisou, modern French on Soi Langsuan 9
Bisou sits at 68 Soi Langsuan 9, two minutes from BTS Chit Lom, and is in the MICHELIN Guide Thailand as Selected in both 2025 and 2026. The room is near-black with a kiss wall and a spiral staircase, and the cooking is modern French built to share, a menu made for two pairs of hands rather than one plate each.
The signatures run from truffle French toast and a crudo bar of oysters, otoro and Hokkaido scallop, through a beef Wellington carved at the table and a whole seabass baked in salt crust and flambeed beside you, to wood-fired dry-aged wagyu and a 72% chocolate souffle. The five course chef's sharing menu is THB 3,400 per person. Dinner runs nightly from 5:30 PM to midnight, with last food orders at 11 PM. See the full menu, or read about the tableside carving and flambe.
